Professor Hannah G. Scheffer-Wentz is a Communication Ph.D. candidate at the University of North Dakota. She is an internationally recognized gender media scholar, presenter, and published author. Her dissertation work explores how trans-parasocial relationships influence Gen Z's negotiation of gender values. Professor Scheffer-Wentz has taught undergraduate classes around the country with the aim of supporting every student in their academic and professional goals. Her goal is to make media research accessible to the public, ensuring users have tools and resources as they navigate digital spaces.
